How To Be Cool

Summary Michelle decides to change her whole appearance and such to fit in with new friends after she only gets things like "nice," with one "boring," written about her in a "slam book," while this new kid gets words like "cool" and "awesome." She dies her hair, tries to cut her clothes, and then lies about having an air guitar.

Review By: Doug Fowler Rating 7.5 / 10 While I can see Michelle doing one or two little things to fit in, this felt a little more like the 4th or 5th grade Stephanie than Michelle. It's still good, though It is a good book about trying to fit in and how being nice is really okay. And, it's great to see how Cassie and mandy still have faith she'll change back; that shows who her true friends are.
