Fuller House

Fuller House is an American sitcom that ran for five seasons on streaming service Netflix, from 2016 until 2020. It's a sequel to Full House, which ran from 1987 until 1995. Like its predecessor, Fuller House was created by Jeff Franklin. Most of the original cast of Full House reprised their roles for the sequel, either as series regulars or as recurring characters, with only Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen not making a single appearance as their character Michelle Tanner. Of course there were also new faces on Fuller House, compared to the original show.

The story of Fuller House

Fuller House focuses on D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is a widowed veterinarian, living in San Francisco and raising three sons, 12 year old J.D. and 7 year old Max, and baby Tommy. Her sister Stephanie Tanner, who has become an aspiring musician, moves in with her to help her raise her kids, just like her best friend Kimmy Gibbler and her teenage daughter Ramona.

The first episode is a Full House reunion, with many other Full House stars making a guest appearances on the show.

The premise of Fuller House mirrors the original show, centering around a single parent getting help from two friends and/or family members, raising their children. A big difference between the shows however, is that Full House mainly evolved around the children that were being raised, while Fuller House focuses more on the parents (being said children on the former show)

Production

Fuller House was produced by Miller-Boyett Productions and Jeff Franklin Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television for Netflix. Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin are the executive producers of the series, which was created by Franklin.
